Police in Trenton are investigating a physical fight between several people that left a man injured after he was struck with an object at a location in the city.
Officers responded to reports of a fight near the area of South Clinton Avenue and Liberty Street at approximate the scene 2 a.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found a male victim suffering a severe head injury after someone smashed him in the head with a bottle according to police officials.
EMS treated then transported the victim to the hospital where doctors treated non-life threatening injuries.
The motive for the attack remains under investigation.
