Police officials in Hoboken are looking into the motive for a stabbing that seriously injured a man Sunday morning.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., police responded to reports of an injured person in the 40's block of 1st Street.
When officers arrived, they found a man bleeding heavily from his stomach after someone attacked him with a sharp object.
Police say the victim was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center in serious condition while police continued investigating the incident.
There were no other serious injuries reported.
