A male victim is being transported to an area hospital from Met Life Stadium where he is suffering a stab injury.
The man was reportedly in the area of J20 when he was stabbed in the back of the head by an unidentified assailant at around 7:05 p.m. according to reports.
Police searched the area where they detained the suspect reports said.
The extent of the victim's injury is unknown at this time.
Met Life Stafium is hosting the 2016 Hot 97 Summer Jam Concert this evening.
The motive behind the stabbing has not been released.
