Police in Newark are looking for a pair of robbery suspects wanted for a violent attack in Newark's North Ward Thursday morning.
Police received a call reporting a robbery in progress in the 300 block of Broadway shortly before 2:30 a.m.
A preliminary investigation indicated that two suspects approached the victim armed with a knife and demanded personal possessions.
During the encounter, the victim suffered a laceration to his leg.
Initially described as male and female, the suspects fled the scene northbound on Broadway.
The victim's injuries were not considered life-threatening.
