Man Shot Dead in Trenton’s First Murder in 90 Days

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a Friday evening double shooting in Trenton that left one man dead, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported.

Officials said at approximately 7:30 p.m. on September 2, Trenton police received a Shot Spotter activation and several calls for a shooting.

Patrol officers responded to the 200th block of Spring Street and located two shooting victims. Rasheed Barlow, 35, of Trenton, was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police said A 38-year-old man suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
