Officials said at approximately 7:02 p.m., Plainfield Police Patrol units responded to the 300 block of Emerson Avenue on a report of an individual pinned under a vehicle.
Plainfield Fire Department and Rescue Squad were also notified and responded.
The victim, a 64-year-old male, was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.
