Authorities in Newark are reporting that police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a male who is wanted in connection with a business robbery that occurred earlier today.
Police say at approximately 3:15 p.m., the suspect entered the Home Liquor Store located in the 60’s block of 7th Avenue armed with a gun.
According to authorities, the suspect brandished the gun and demanded the money from the cash registers.
Police say the suspect took over $2,800 before fleeing the store.
Police described the suspect as 5’9” tall with a medium build wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, white sneakers and black pants with gold lines on the sides.
