SEASIDE HEIGHTS NJ: An armed robbery that turned into an assault near a motel in the 50's block of Lincoln Ave. sent police to the seen shortly before 5:45 a.m.
Officers located the male victim who was suffering non-life threatening injuries after being physically assaulted by a male suspect who made off with the victim's Levi jacket and an undetermined amount of cash after the robbery.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital where he is expected to make a full recovery.
There were no arrests immediately reported.
