The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a shooting homicide in Trenton.
According to a statement released by The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office, at approximately 7 p.m. on Friday, police responded to a shooting that occurred in the first block of Beakes Street.
Officials said the adult male victim was shot multiple times and transported to the hospital unresponsive.
Doctors pronounced the unidentified man dead a short time later.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
