Authorities warn Route 23 commuters to expect delays as police investigate an afternoon crash that killed a 72-year-old Kinnelon man.
Police responded to Route 23 near Meadtown Mall where the driver - of the only vehicle involved -appears to have suffered a "medical episode" causing him to crash into a highway divider.
The unidentified driver was transported to Chilton Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
Delays are expected for the evening rush hour, police added.
