Newark Public Safety Director Brian O’Hara announced an investigation into a motorcycle crash that killed the rider this evening in Newark.
Officials said just before 6 p.m., police responded to the Route 1 & 9 underpass at McClellan Street on a call of a single-vehicle motorcycle accident.
Police said upon arrival, they found a severely injured adult male ejected from the bike.
According to police, he was pronounced dead at 6:17 p.m.
This incident remains under investigation.
