Mercer County authorities are investgiating a shooting that killed a man at a location in Trenton on Wednesday night.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the 20's block of Hanford Place just before 2 a.m. where they arrived to find a male victim suffering a gunshot wound to the head at that location.
The unidentified victim was transported to an area hospital where doctors pronounced him dead a short time later according to preliminary reports.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
There were no other injuries reported or suspects identified.
