Authorities in Elizabeth are investigating a stabbing incident that left a male injured in Elizabeth Wednesday night.
Police say at approximate 9:40 p.m., they received reports of an injured person in the 400 block of Elizabeth Avenue.
Units arrived at the scene and found a male bleeding after someone stabbed him at that location.
The victim was transported to the hospital where doctors treated his injury then listed him in stable condition.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation and no arrested has been officially reported.
