One person suffered non-fatal injuries in an early morning crash in Newark's East Ward on Thursday.
Police responded to reports of a collision near the intersection of McCarter Highway and South Street around 2:25 a.m.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene and found two vehicles involved in a crash with an adult male suffering injuries at that location.
The victim was transported to the hospital, where doctors treated his injuries.
One of the vehicles involved was a commercial vehicle where police questioned the driver to determine the cause.
No other injuries were reported.
