Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal confirms that the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating an officer-involved-shooting which occurred outside of 485 Summit Avenue at around 11:30 a.m.
Authorities said the suspect was struck after police fired their weapons at him and is currently in critical but stable condition at Hackensack University Medical Center.
Several involved Fort Lee officers were taken to Englewood Hospital for evaluation.
Authorities said the investigation is continuing at this time.
