EMS transported a male victim to University Hospital after he reportedly jumped from a window in Newark's South Ward on Wednesday morning.
Police say at approximately 12:25 a.m., police were notified of an injured person in the 200 block of Seymour Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found the unidentified male lying on the ground bleeding from his head after he reportedly jumped from a second-floor window at that location.
The victim reportedly suffered serious but non-fatal injuries, according to officials.
Police say no suspicious activities are involved in this incident.
