Police in Hoboken are continuing to investigate an incident where a male jumped from the window of a building in the city overnight.
Emergency responders were called to the 400 block of Marshall Drive at approximately 10:55 p.m. where they found the victim laying on the ground next to a large apartment building.
EMS transported the male to an area hospital where doctors treated him for serious injuries.
According to a preliminary investigation, witnesses say the man jumped from the 5th floor of the building before the arrival of emergency crews.
It is not clear what prompted the man to jump from the window at this time.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
