Trenton Police are on the search for a suspect who attacked and severely injured a man on a street in the city Sunday morning.
Police say the early morning incident happened in the vicinity of 116 Mott Street at approximately 12:40 a.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found the male victim suffered a severe laceration to his head.
EMS arrived at the location and immediately attempted to control the victim's bleeding before transporting the man to the hospital.
Police say the suspect ran from the scene and remains at-large.
The motive for the assault is under investigation.
