Authorities in Passaic County announced that on October 22, at approximately 2:21 p.m., the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Market Street and Veterans Place in Paterson, on a reported stabbing.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes stated that when officers arrived on scene, they located the victim, William Davis, a 38-year-old male from Paterson, lying on the sidewalk with multiple stab wounds.
The victim was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased, according to Passaic County officials.
This investigation is active and ongoing, PCPO officials say. More information will be released when it becomes available.
