According to Mercer County officials, on Tuesday evening, the Mercer County Homicide Task Force was called out to a working fire in the 700 block of Southard Street that began around 8:30 p.m.
Officials said when the fire was extinguished, the body of a deceased male was located inside a residence in fire debris.
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Arson Unit and the Trenton Police Department continue to investigate.
