There is an investigation underway into the death of a man who was found in a closet inside Demarest High School today.
According to authorities, the 65-year-old man is from New York and was found dead inside a closer at the Academy of the Holy Angels in Demarest.
Emergency responders arrived at the school shortly before noon where they found the body in a closet.
A shelter in place was ordered for the school body until the incident was resolved.
The man is believed to be a utility worker from the cable company but authorities have not confirmed the man's identity.
The body was transported to the Bergen County Medical Examiners Office.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
