Detectives for The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office were on the scene of an incident where police found the body of a male inside a building on Wednesday night.
Emergency responders were dispatched to a building on 87th Street near 3rd Avenue after several 911 calls reported an unconscious and unresponsive person in the hallway.
Upon arrival, police and EMS found the male then pronounced him dead at the scene.
Authorities are trying to determine what caused the man's death, and suspicious conditions have not been confirmed at this time.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
