Amtrak offcials confirmed a train strike that killed a man in Trenton Thursday night.
According to police, emergency responders rushed to the vicinity of Bridge and Ferry streets after receiving reports of a person on the tracks.
Rescue crews arrive and found a severely injured man lying on the tracks at that location.
Police say medical professionals pronounced the unidentified victim dead at the scene.
Amtrak police will lead the investigation.
