Authoritities in Newark are looking into the cause of an incident that had a man fall from a ladder at a location in the city's North Ward Thursday evening.
According to police, at approximately 6:24 p.m., emergency responders rushed to the 90's block of Garside Street to investigate reports of an injured person.
Units arrived and found a seriously injured unidentified man who had fallen about 20ft off a ladder at that location.
The victim was transported to the hospital, suffering facial injuries.
Police say there were no other injured victims at that location and the cause is under investigation.
