Camden County authorities confirmed that a man who jumped from a bridge in Gloucester City suffered fatal injuries Sunday.
At approximately 8 a.m., police were notified of a person attempting to jump from the Walt Whitman Bridge.
Emergency responders arrived and requested rescue boats from the U.S Coast Guard and Philadelphia after the unidentified man jumped into the Deleware River.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
