Authorities in Jersey City are investigating a fatal fall that occurred Monday morning, leaving one man dead near a busy intersection in the city.

According to officials, the incident happened just before 10 a.m. at the intersection of Jersey Avenue and 18th Street.
Emergency responders, including police and EMS crews, arrived at the scene to find a man who had fallen from a nearby high-rise building.
Witnesses reported seeing the man land on top of a vehicle, suffering severe injuries.
Despite efforts to perform CPR, the unidentified male was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation remains active, though authorities say no foul play is suspected at this time.
