Police took a man into custody and charged him with possessing a weapon in a section of the city's North Ward on Saturday morning.
In the preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of a person pointing a weapon at a vehicle in the vicinity of 88 Crane Street around 1:30 a.m.
Several units arrived at the scene and reportedly found the suspect with a loaded gun in his possession.
Police say the suspect was taken into custody without further incident.
There were no injuries reported.
