Police in Somerset County are investigating a pedestrian accident that resulted in the death of a man in Hillsborough Township Saturday.
The early morning incident happened around 2:30 a.m. in the single-digit block of Clark Lane.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene after learning of a person being struck by a car at the location.
Upon arrival, police found the victim trapped under a car suffering severe injuries.
Medica pronounced the unidentified person dead at the scene.
The incident is under active investigation, and the cause has not been determined at this time.
