EMS rushed a man to a regional trauma center for treatment after police found the victim suffering a bullet wound in his chest in a section of Trenton Sunday night.
Several rounds of gunfire erupted in the vicinity of Wayne Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, prompting police to the scene around 11:47 p.m.
Police and EMS arrived and located the unidentified male suffering a bullet wound in his upper torso.
Authorities say the suspect fled the scene and is at large.
No other injuries were reported.
