Male Jumps from Third Floor Window of House in Newark

EMS rushed a male to University Hospital suffering serious injuries after jumping from a building in Newark  Sunday morning. 

Newark Emergency responders were dispatched to a home in the 400 block of Avon Avenue to investigate reports of an injured person. 

Suicide

Upon arrival, police found an unidentified male suffering a severe head injury after he reportedly jumped from the third-floor window of a house at that location. 

The victim was rushed to University Hospital for treatment and was reported in stable condition as of 4:30 a.m. 

Newark Police are investigating the circumstances behind the incident. 

No foul play has been reported at this time.
