There are no reports of a homicide investigation for a male who was found hanging from a tree in a North Plainfield community on Saturday afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to a housing development at 375 North Drive after receiving reports of an injured person.
Upon their arrival, officers found a male victim reportedly hanging from a tree at that location.
Medical personnel pronounced the unidentified person dead at the scene.
Police are continuing to investigate, but the incident does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
