Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Lindenwold Police Chief Thomas Brennan are investigating an overnight homicide.
According to authorities, Lindenwold officers responded to the 3900 building in the Arborwood Apartment Complex on East Gibbsboro Road after receiving 9-1-1 calls of a man who was shot at just after midnight.
Officials said when officers arrived they located the victim, Theron Alston, 32, of Magnolia, conscious and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. EMS transported him to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at approximately 3:23 a.m.
According to authorities, the investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
