Long Hill Police Traffic Stop Ends In Arrest of Stirling Man for Possessing Drugs

Police observed and stopped a vehicle for speeding at approximately 6:07 p.m. on Elm Street in Stirling.

After a further investigation, officers arrested the driver, Mr. Jessie Williams, 44, from Stirling for driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana.

Police arrested Williams then processed, and issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, speeding, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police say Williams was released in compliance with John’s Law with a pending court date in Long Hill Township Municipal Court.
