Little Ferry Residents Charged with Drug-Related Offenses

Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal announced the arrests of Maryann Gratzel, 56, Trudy Gratzel, 21, Anthony Gratzel, 38, Rory Puntasecca, 34, all of Little Ferry.

A two-month narcotics investigation revealed that Maryann and her children, Trudy, Anthony, and Rory, were involved in the distribution of Oxycodone pills that were prescribed to Maryann by a physician.

During the course of this investigation, on several occasions, the aforementioned members of the Gratzel family participated in the distribution of Oxycodone pills in Little Ferry.

According to authorities, on Tuesday, Rory and Anthony were arrested without incident while distributing fifty-five Oxycodone pills in front of their residence, located at 189 Washington Avenue, Little Ferry.

Trudy was arrested without incident at this location for her involvement in the distribution of Oxycodone in this investigation.

Maryann, who was not present during the arrests, was served with a criminal summons for her involvement in the distribution of Oxycodone later in the day.

Maryann, Trudy, Anthony and Rory were each charged with one count of distribution of oxycodone and one count of distribution of oxycodone within 1000 Feet of Memorial School, 130 Liberty Street.

The four defendants were released on their own recognizance pending a Central Judicial Processing court date on May 17, 2017.
