LIMITED SPACE: Urban League of Essex Launches Free Summer/Saturday STEM Programs for Middle Schoolers

As we kick off 2024, the Urban League of Essex County is excited to announce the return of its popular free Saturday and Summer STEM programs.NinosHeld at the cutting-edge Tech House in Newark's West Ward, these programs offer an incredible opportunity for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades to dive into the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The curriculum is designed to ignite curiosity and foster practical skills, featuring courses in coding, sound engineering, 3D printing, computer assembly, filmmaking, and video production.

These hands-on experiences not only educate but also inspire the next generation of tech enthusiasts and innovators.

Tech House

In addition to the enriching educational content, the summer programs also include all-day sessions complete with breakfast and lunch, ensuring a full, productive day for every student.
