Lifeguards Revive Drowning Child at American Dream Mall Waterpark

Several lifeguards are credited with reviving a child after the boy took in too much water at an indoor waterpark in Bergen County Saturday evening. 

According to a preliminary investigation, NJ State Police and EMS rushed to the American Dream Mall after receiving reports of an injured person at the Dream Works Waterpark. 

Upon arrival, they found lifeguards performing CPR on a boy around the age of 3-years-old just before 7:30 p.m. 

The lifeguards were able to revive the boy then they handed him over to medical professionals to be transported to an area hospital in an alert and conscious state.  

NJ State Police officials and mall management are investigating the incident.
