There were life-threatening injuries immediately reported for the victim of a near-drowning that occurred at a hotel on Thursday evening.
According to preliminary reports, Clifton emergency responders rushed to the La Quinta Hotel located a 265 NJ-3 at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Rescue crews arrived and began CPR on an unidentified, unconscious and unresponsive person who was reportedly pulled from a pool according to police.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in severe condition. Authorities have not updated the victim's status as of 5 a.m. Friday morning.
The incident remains under investigation.
