NJ State Police officials are looking into a crash that left one person in 'grave' condition on a highway in NJ overnight.
It happened at approximately 3:15 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the highway near exit 26 where police arrived to find a severely damaged vehicle off the roadway and into the wooded portion of the road according to preliminary reports.
During the investigation, police found one person inside the vehicle suffering severe injuries.
Police closed off the right lane of the highway as they conducted a crash investigation.
There were no arrests made.
