Authorities in Middlesex County are looking into the cause of a motorcycle collision that occurred in Old Bridge overnight.
According to preliminary reports from police, the collision happened at approximately 11 p.m. on Route 18 near Ferry Road.
Police said when emergency responders arrived at the scene, they found thee unconscious and unresponsive motorcyclist suffering severe injuries after crashing at that location.
Police temporarily closed all northbound lanes for the crash investigation.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
