Life-Threatening Injuries for Motorcyclist who Crashed on NJ-21 in Clifton

Emergency responders and rescue crews administered life-saving CPR on a motorcyclist who was ejected from his bike on a highway in Clifton.

According to preliminary reports, the crash happened on NJ-21 near exit 9 where police found the severely injured victim in the southbound lanes just past Route 3.

It is not clear if the victim was traveling in the northbound lanes but ejected to the southbound portion of the highway during the collision.

EMS transported the victim to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson for treatment and no other vehicles were involved.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
