Police in Dover are looking into the circumstances of an overnight crash that left one person fighting for their life this morning.
The accident happened before 1:35 a.m. near the intersection of NJ-46 and West Clinton Street sending emergency responders to the scene where upon their arrival they found several injured victims at that location.
According to preliminary reports, the crash caused victims to eject from a vehicle onto the pavement.
The most serious of the injured was rushed to an area hospital in full cardiac arrest reports said.
Mutual assistance EMS units responded from Mine Hill and other municipalities.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
