Police in Elizabeth are investigating the circumstances behind a stabbing incident that unfolded on Anna Street around 8:35 p.m.
Officers swiftly responded to the scene at an address in the 900 block of Anna Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the male in a distressing state, having suffered multiple stab wounds. The injured individual was promptly transported to University Hospital in Newark for medical attention.
His condition is reportedly severe, and medical teams are working to provide the necessary treatment.
