Police in Elizabeth are looking into the motive behind a stabbing incident that injured a person in a section of the city on Tuesday night.
According to preliminary reports, at approximately 11:40 p.m., police responded to 49 Mravlag Manor to investigate reports of an injured person.
Upon arrival, police found the unidentified person suffering a stab wound in their chest at that location.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment and their condition has not been released at this time.
Police have not immediately released a potential suspect description.
