The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office was made aware of a crash that caused a fatal injury in Fort Lee Wednesday night.
According to preliminary reports, at approximately 11:30 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of Lemoine and Washington avenues to investigate reports of a crash.
Upon arrival, police found one person severely injured in a collision at that location.
One person was pronounced at the scene.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
