Lakewood Police are investigating a stabbing incident that happened Sunday night in a section of the Township.
According to preliminary reports, police were dispatched to an address in the 200 block of 2nd Street to investigate reports of an injured person.
Upon arrival, police found an unidentified person suffering a non-life threatening stab wound at that location.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
Police have not released a motive for the stabbing at this time.
