Police are on the search for the suspect/s who committed an armed robbery this morning in Newark's North Ward.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to an address in the 200 block of 2nd Avenue at around 6:30 a.m. where they met they met the victim who reported that shortly before officers arrived, a male suspect exited a black van armed with a knife and demanded the victim's vehicle.
The suspect, described as a short black male who wore a mask, reportedly made off with a light blue 2007 Nissan Altima.
There were no physical injuries reported.
