A 32-year-old Cedar Knolls man wanted in connection with an attempted burglary was arrested in Kenilworth.
According to police, on Dec. 12, 2016, a burglary in progress was reported by the homeowner.
Before police arrival, the actor fled on foot and detectives were called to the scene.
The investigation revealed that the actor attempted to break into the residence by shattering a rear sliding door and then fleeing after realizing the home was occupied.
After a two-month investigation, Detective Ed Paster arrested and charged **Ryan McNamee, 32, of Cedar Knolls,** on March 3rd at the Morris County Jail where he was being held on other unrelated charges.
McNamee was charged with attempted burglary and criminal mischief.
He is set to have a first appearance in the Union County Superior Court at a later date.
