Kearny Bank Donates $29,000 in Scholarships to New Jersey High Schools

Kearny Bank has donated a total of $29,000 to the scholarship funds of 27 high schools and two educational support organizations in New Jersey.

These funds represent the latest contributions in a long-standing, annual scholarship program managed by the Kearny Bank Foundation.

“Kearny Bank has a strong commitment to supporting education throughout New Jersey, and we’re very proud of our annual high school scholarship program,” Craig Montanaro, President and CEO of Kearny Bank, said. “Given the uniquely challenging circumstances of this spring, we’re particularly pleased to provide tuition support to these students from the class of 2020.”

The schools and organizations submitted requests to the Kearny Bank Foundation and from those submissions, the awardees were chosen

Additionally, each recipient school or organization gets to determine how its $1,000 scholarship award is allocated.

The schools and organizations are that received the scholarship awards for 2020 are:

**Bergen County**

Becton Regional H.S.; Fair Lawn H.S.; Garfield H.S.; Lyndhurst H.S.; North Arlington H.S.; Northern Valley Regional H.S.; Pascack Valley H.S.; Ramapo H.S.; Rutherford H.S.; and Wallington H.S.

**Essex County**

James Caldwell H.S. and Montclair Scholarship Fund

**Hudson County**

Harrison Education Foundation and Kearny H.S.

**Middlesex County**

Old Bridge H.S. and Spotswood H.S.

**Monmouth County**

Asbury Park H.S.; Long Branch H.S.; Manasquan H.S.; and Ocean Township H.S.

**Morris County**

Montville H.S.

**Ocean County**

Lacey Township H.S.; Point Pleasant H.S.; and Toms River H.S. South

**Passaic County**
