EMS transported a juvenile male to University Hospital for treatment after the victim was struck by a car in Newark’s North Ward.
It happened around 9:25 p.m. Near the intersection of North 9th Street and Bloomfield Avenue.
Police say the male was struck by the car and listed in serious but stable condition.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
Police officials say the incident is under investigation.
