Today Giving Tuesday - that began in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation - encourages individuals to shift their focus from commercialization in the post-Thanksgiving season to share with those that need it the most.
Brand New Day, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community development corporation in Elizabeth, have helped to provide programs to low-to-moderate-income individuals, youth and families free of charge for the last 30 years.
